Why "shit"?
This is good news here in NVIDIA-land.

No it's not. If the competition can't offer a good product
that no one would want, then Nvidia's innovation goes down, while
prices go up.

I just want the best card, and I want both companies to kick a$$ really. Both
keep themselves sharp and competitive by doing that, and I like that... great
products from both! Just get the best card.

Im not going any where near a new graphics card right now....uncertain new
models all over the place (maybe).....SL this or maybe not that.....PCIE x16
or is it going to be x32 ?.....mad prices on new models.....Direct X 10
somewhere soon-ish (now WhAt will that require??).

If any bunny needs a new card right now best bet for value is Radeon 9800
pro ..get for $120 usd
...lots around second hand at $100 (£60 GBP)....maybe a G6600GT ...
these will run any thing for now and untill (say) middle of next year when
new things should have settled down..
Luv mouse

Well, actually, this is The World. You know, Planet Earth? The mssg was
crossposted to several groups. ATi and NVidia are the top Big Dog GPU
makers for use Lowly Enthusiast Consumers ;) It's GOOD there is
competition in this industry. We all benefit from that.
