About six of us went to the Greenwich Picture House to see the live Satellite broadcast of the Rolling Stones movie/documentary from Leicester Square, central London, this evening.
It was brilliant.
Made by Martin Scorsese, the movie was the next best thing to a live performance interspersed with old news clips from The Stones and the sound quality was excellent.
It was recorded in New York and if I'm not mistaken it was at the same venue that Scorsese filmed the Band's 'The Last Waltz' though I'm not sure about that.
Afterwards we drank at the Coach & Horses in the market square.
A good night out
If you like The Stones, you'll love this movie. Keef, as ever, was the star....
