The Pc was built August 2011.
Recently I have endless problems on all programmes that mimic ‘Shift Lock’ e.g. if you want to highlight several cells in excel or several lines of text in Word, you hold down the shift (Mark) key and drag with the mouse or use the arrows.
The PC dose this intermittently by itself. This causes havoc if it occurs whilst on the internet (Firefox) or trying to enter passwords etc.
I have found a short term fix by pressing the ‘Taskswitch’ on the Vivanco keyboard but cannot stop the problem re-occurring on a regular, daily basis.
Anybody any idea what causes this?
