and then (c)clicking on the last item, it simply leaves the last ite
selected and not the others. How can I reset it to work properly sinc
there is no way to select multiple items from a list. Thank you

No. The [Control Key] is for selecting multiple items from a list that ARE
NOT adjacent. The [Shift Key] is for selecting items that ARE adjacent.

The [Shift Key] is also used to type capital letters a the begining of
sentences.

Hey Guys,

If you will look at my original qquestion, I was simply asking if
anyone knows how to reset the Shift Key so that, when you hold it down,
the mouse pointer can be moved down a list selecting the list of
adjacent items. I have no idea why it stopped doing this. Thanks.
Isn't the shift key also used for YELLING at people ???

Is the shift key functioning at all. IOW can you use it to
type upper case? Have you tried another keyboard?
