For the record, here's the fine print:

"you can always distribute SheerPower-based applications to others --
royalty free! And, you can do so without the optional SheerPower 4GL
GOLD License, but you must provide them with the source code to your
application.

The SheerPower 4GL GOLD License gives you the right and ability to hide
your SheerPower 4GL source code by utilizing the DEPLOY feature in
SheerPower 4GL."
