shdoclc.dll

Hello

I have modified the shdoclc.dll to put my own "dnserror" page. I put the
new dll to c:\windows\system32\ folder, I restart my computer and my dll
was replaced by the original.
I think it's a problem with File protection.
So is it possible to modify the registry so that Internet explorer use
my dll (c:\sample\shdoclc.dll) and not (c:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll) ?

Thank ou in advance.

No.

SHDOCLC.DLL is a Windows System file and, while referenced on the page, does
not create the default DNS error page.

I didn't find any reference to the "dnserror.htm" page in the registry,
it's only for "res://shdoclc.dll/navcancl.htm" and
"res://shdoclc.dll/offcancl.htm".
So I think modify the aboutUrls keys is not the soution.
I would like to not disable the file protection. I like the replacer
tool, I try to understand how it works.
Thank you for your help
