shdoclc.dll not a valid windows image

When I try to use AOL I get the following...Can you help
me?
DLL C:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll is not a valid
windows image
Please advise
 
if you have a windows xp installation disk, insert it and click start>run,
and type 'sfc /scannow' (gap after 'c')

allow this program to run. it will replace the damaged file.
