Sharon:additional question on posting

Sharon,
Thanks for the help...but I have OE version 6 and do not have "log on with
secure password" in my advanced tab...but I do have a posting box that says
"ignore news sending format and post using"....can this be of any help?
Any other ideas..you've been great so for..

No, that doesn't help by itself. It's a standard setting. Determines if you
are going to "reply using same format as original message" or if you are
going to use your preferences (html or plain text).

Mark, it sounds like you have checked everything you can. Most likely
things are set fine or there is setting particular to the news server
you're trying to use. I think that at this point, you need to check the
tech support pages for the news server involved. Find out if posting is
allowed (if server is read only, you cannot post) and what their required
settings are. If no luck finding the info or implementing it, suggest
contacting their tech support people.
