At my job we are using win2k with novel networking software.
We have are having an odd phenomenon with sharing violations.
If I go into folder "A", edit a file, lets say "mytext.txt", go back
up to the directory level "A" is on, and then try to rename or remove
folder "A" I get told I have a sharing violation.
The only way to kill it is to log off and log back on.
Our network people claim it is a bug with windows2000.
I don't believe this as I have used windows2000 elsewhere AND with
novell.
Does anyone have any idea what might be behind this problem or what
can be done about it?
Thanks in advance
Steve
