Sharing Tab hangs Windows Explorer

I went in to the Sharing Tab of the Properties on my Documents folder earlier
today and added 'Everyone' to the list of names with permission level of
'Co-owner'. This seemed to work fine, and now our other Vista computer on
our home network can share my files. However, since doing this I can no
longer access the Sharing tab in the Properties for any of my folders at all.
If I click on the Sharing tab for any folder on my computer my Windows
Explorer application hangs. I never see the Sharing tab at all. I can
access all the other tabs in Properties, just not the Sharing tab.

Here are the details of the error that I am getting:

Description:

Any suggestions?

It could be a 3rd party software. For troubleshooting, start the Vista with
clean boot. Please post back with the result.

Robert,

Is a 'clean boot' the same as starting in Safe Mode?

I really doubt that this is a 3rd party software issue because the problem
started immediately after I used the Sharing Tab to enable sharing (added
'Everyone' with permissions of Co-Owner) for my account, which was only a
couple of days ago. Prior to that there was never any problem. I have not
recently added any new software to my system.

On my system I have an account named 'Joan' and also the default user
account ('Default'). If I pull up the Sharing Tab in the Properties window
for the 'Default' account, the tab comes up and Windows Explorer does not
hang. It is only in the account ('Joan') where I used the Sharing Tab a
couple of days ago to enable sharing that I am having the problem.
