What I want to do is to share a folder in my computer and I dont want to give access to everyone but a couple users. When I share a folder, I hit on the security tab, remove 'everyone' and add the name of the users that I would like to give full access. But this doesnt work. It does not give access to anybody including the users that I added

There was an option at Win98 to put a access password for the other users for the shared folders. Now in win2000 as far as i can see there is no such option.

Can you help me on this problem

Also check the NTFS settings on the folder being shared and make sure that the users have access there also.

Make sure you are logged on as an administrator while doing such. You may
need to take ownership of the folder if problems persist. There is no
password access in Windows 2000. Check that the users have proper share
permissions in addition to ntfs permissions. --- Steve
