My small company uses exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003. I would like to share
customer contact information with a few employees. I'm attempting to do
this by:
1. in my inbox, i created a new folder of type "Contacts".
2. i name the folder customer contacts.
3. i import our customer list from an excel spreadsheet into the customer
contacts folder.
4. i right click the folder and select "Sharing..."
5. under permissions i select the users and set appropriate permission
levels.
Now when the users try to view the contact list by selecting my userID from
the global address list, they recieve the following error:
Unable to display the folder. The Contacts folder count not be found.
However, when i share my primary Contacts folder, everything works fine.
But i don't want to do this since it stores all my personal contacts.
So how do i share the customer contact folder? Is this possible?
