sharing printer over network

how do I share my printer with my kids computer over a small home network?

1. Open XP's "Help and Support" program.
2. In the Search box type: SHARE A PRINTER , and hit enter.
3. Click on the topic titled: "Share your printer".

Hi,

Both computers should have the same workgroup name. Then you will need to
set sharing for the printer (check properties of it in the printers folder).
Once set, then use the add printer wizard on the other system and do a
network printer installation.
