Sharing Permissions

When I give someone permission to view my calendar and
set their permissions to "None" they are still able to
create appointments in my calendar. How can I set it so
they can only view and nothing else?
 
2000 and 2002 (xp) allow a delegate to view only and not create, if the permission is set to "reviewer" if you set it to "none" as you say, they won't be able to view at all. It's possible "delegates" and "permissions" are fighting. Go to Tools/Options/Delegtes and adjust your delegates permissions there to "reviewer". Then, right click on your calendar (in the shortcut list or the folder list) and go to the properties tab, and make sure the permissions for your delegate are correct there also, and make sure "create" boxes are not checked.
