I have just set up a home lan with a Desktop PC and a Laptop. I have outlook
on the desktop and would like to be able to access the outlook file and be
able to update it from the laptop. I already have file sharing working on
other folders. I notice in outlook there is file sharing under "file >
share".
I have outlook 2000 installed on both machines. I tried to turn on file
sharing in outlook but now it wants a default mail acct. I don't use
outlook for mail I use Ootlook Express. Should I turn on sharing the
outlook .pst file using win explorer or do I have to do it via outlook or
both?
Is there an easy way to do what I want to do?
