We have a customer who creates numerous folders under
other folders within Outlook, ie. Inbox has 20 sub
folders for storing specific emails. The customer has
used delegate access to give other people rights to view
email etc when out of office but they cannot see any of
the sub folders, is there anyway of showing these folders
to other delegates? I have tried sharing the individual
sub folders which is all ok but cannot seem to access
them anywhere from another workstation, I have also
looked at using Windows Briefcase to do something but
this looks a bit fiddly and also we don't seem to have
the Open Special Folders option on the file menu both on
customer site and in house.

If anyone has any idea's they would be gratefully
received.

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File | Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant Reviewer permission to the root of the mailbox, as well as appropriate permission on the folder.

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | Services, brings up the properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox.

After that, the user will see in the folder list all those folders in the secondary mailbox to which he/she has access and can add any of those folders to the Outlook Bar. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/links.htm#addtobar.
