Where do I go to determine how to setup sharing OE between my desktop
and my laptop, both of which are connected to a DSL router?

You cannot do this. What you can do is to synchronize your mail
databases on both computers with a XCOPY batch file or a professional
data sync software. This would mean, that OE must be used on one of
the machines at a time only to avoid data loss.

Set both instances of OE to leave a copy of messages on the server,
deleting them after x number of days. the only downside to this is that
any messages SENT from either will not be replicated on the other unless
you use something like Hotmail.
