Sharing Outlook Contacts without exchange

We use M Office small business version in our company.
We use outlook for our email, calendar and contacts
(customers). Our office manager has the most up to date
contact list and I would like to load her contacts on my
computer to update my system. We are not on a network
but individual P.C. / laptops. Can you do this without
exchange? If so how? I tried exporting to a C.D. and
loading that into my computer but I keep getting an error
that it is not compatible or something.

Any information or suggestions on upgrading to 2003 or
other software would be helpful.

Outlook needs to be able to write to the .PST file, which it can't do when
the .PST is on a CD. Move the .PST file to your hard drive and remove the
read-only attribute, then try again.
