I currently have Outlook 2002 with my pst file running on my laptop which
has a wireless attachment to my home network. It needs to be stored on the
laptop since I occasionally take it when I travel.

I would like to be able to run Outlook 2002 on a desktop in my home which is
also attached to the home network. I realize I cannot access the Outlook
pst file by both computers at the same time.

I am able to get into Outlook fine from the desktop, but do not understand
where / how the email accounts are stored. I have several different
accounts on the laptop that I check, and hate to manually enter them into
the desktop version of Outlook as well.

A similar problem exists with rules as I have lots of those as well. I
noticed after opening and closing Outlook on the desktop, that the rules in
the laptop version were gone. Fortunately I was able to restore from a
back, and have now exported those rules into a file. Is it necessary to
import them on the desktop version?

1. You may try exporting the settings from Outlook: File>Import/Export...
2. You may try the Save my Settings Wizard: Start>Programs>MS Office>MS Office Tools
