Sharing of C:\ is switched on automatically

I have the problem that sharing for my C:\ drive is
switched on automatically. I have a standalone machine
connected with a cable router to the internet.

When I manually switch sharing off for C:\ and reboot the
machine, my C:\ drive is shared as $ Default Share.

As far as I know this is not norma, is it?

Please share your insights on this.

on how to disable. (FWIW, you can unbind file & print services from your
network connectiod for additional protection. However nothing beats behind
a personal firewall.)
