I've got 30 Win2k pc's that need to get files off of 1
win2k pc and the limits are 12 users?? Does anyone know
how to increase the limitations? They also print to this
pc and a same problem with limits on printing.

The limit is really 10 simultaneous connections and no it can not be
changed. It is a hardcoded limitation of all Windows NT workstation
platforms.

Well believe it or not our tech folks won't let us use the server. This would be ideal since its sitting in the storage room in my classroom and also they don't think I have a problem....
I would like to know if there is a work-around or any other suggestions

Sorry, there is no workaround and I have never seen one posted, probably
because it would require a fundamental change in the core files that run
Windows. Somehow I think if someone did crack the OS and posted it on the
net MS would slap them fairly hard. You would have to change the OS to
another such as Linux or get a NAS unit.

You have to make your management to understand why you need a server
installed for your use. Situations like this is just ridiculous.
