D Doug Knox MS-MVP Aug 19, 2004 #2 Are you running XP Home or Pro? If Home, no. All network share access authenticates as Guest. For XP Pro, in Windows Explorer, go to Tools, Folder Options, View and uncheck Use Simple File Sharing.
