I have a client that has an office sharing a DSL
connection and have multiple pc's with different OS's
installed. I have two people sharing folders. One has XP
Pro and the other has win 98. How do I allow the two
people to share folders and keep every one else from
having access to those folders. Mainly people with win 98
and XP

The win 98 user can define passwords for that computer's shared
folders. Anyone who wants to access a folder must enter the password
for that folder. To set a password for a shared folder:

1. Right click the folder and click Sharing.
2. Type a password in the appropriate box.

Win XP doesn't have passwords for shared folders. The simplest
solution is to define a password for the Guest account. Anyone who
wants to access anything on the XP computer must enter the Guest
account password. To set the Guest account password:

1. Click Start | Run.
2. Type "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes) and click OK.
3. Click Guest.
4. Click Reset Password.
5. Type a password.
