Dear All,
I got the problem with my share folder in my computer.
I have already use Windows XP professional SP2.
I want to share my share folder to others and I just want 1 user can
connect to my private folder. I don't want everyone can access my share
folder.

I want to share my folder to "Henry" (computer name/user name), and we have
the same workgroup.
For example: GENERAL is our workgroup.

Before that, I was setting allowed the user : 1
I try to ADD user/computer name in "Permissions" with "Henry"
but I always failed and I got the message the user which I added cannot
found.
I checked the name (Henry) and this name cannot found???

The message is like this:
An object named "Henry" cannot be found. Check the selected object types and
location for accuracy and ensure that you typed the object name correctly, or
remove this object from the selection.

I cannot ADD this user to my share folder. And I was try to add with IP
address too.

Otherwise, I try to ADD with another name like this:
GENERAL\Henry
and the message show like this :
The object named "GENERAL\Henry" is not from a domain listed in the Select
Location dialog box, and is therefore not valid.

I try like this because the examples which I got from the "Permissions" in
share folder is like this:
Provides a space for you to type the object names that you want to find. You
can search for multiple objects by separating each name with a semicolon. Use
one of the following syntax examples:
DisplayName (example: FirstName LastName)
ObjectName (example: Computer1)
UserName (example: User1)
ObjectName@DomainName (example: User1@Domain1)
DomainName\ObjectName (example: Domain1\User1)

What's the problem? Anyone can help me?
Thank you.

(snip rather difficult to follow post)

On the XP Pro machine, disable Simple Sharing (Folder Options>View).

On the XP Pro machine, go to the User Accounts applet and create a user
account "Henry" and a password that matches the one on Henry's computer.
If Henry is not currently using a password, create one on his machine
also. The user account/password must be identical on both machines.

On the XP Pro machine with the share, right-click on the folder and
click "sharing & security. Share the folder and in Security only allow
access to Henry, your own account, and Administrator.
