Sharing files etc.

I have two computers running winXP Pro and Win XP Home respectively,
they share an ADSL connection through a router and a switch. What do I
have to do to be able to share files and perhaps a printer between the
two computers? Make it simple please!

Didn't they come with a manual?
 
No........ and the windows information and help files are good at
telling you what to do but not what you need to do, thanks for answering
anyway.

Hi,
Right click on what you want to share and go to sharing and choose
how you want to share.
Then on the other machine go into network neighbourhood and click on
the other PC and you should be able to see the 'share' and access it.
Printer is similar, share it, but then on the other PC go to the
printer as above, right click on it and 'install', you should then
have this printer in your printers folder.
