sharing email on vista and outlook express

I have networked old to new computers.Transfered contacts no problems.I have
formated old computer and i am now having problem trying to share e mail
adress on old computer,i.e. vista to outlook express 6.
 
Windows Mail won't connect to a Hotmail account, although there are
rumors that Hotmail will make it possible sometime next year. You may
want to watch for messages that show where to download Windows
Live Mail, which doesn't have this problem.

--Explanation! The two computers are networked.Email was being sent and
received before formating old computer.The problem i now have is, that i
cannot set up an email adress on old computer. When i try to create a new
adress ,the @ icon will not register.It will show as ( " ) therefore not
giving me a valid adress.I am able to send email to new computer but not to
old . Hope you can note my problem from explanation, not a major computer
player.

I have no idea why your old computer will not let you set up
an email account. However, I understand that your old computer
uses Outlook Express, so you should ask that question in an Outlook
Express newsgroup.

Sounds like the old computer has the wrong keyboard specified in Language
and Regional Settings.
