Sharing Domain & Workgroup

My laptop from work is logging onto a domain. But when I
get home the only way I can get connected to my network I
gave to change network type to workgroup. Doing this
gives me a new profile. This is a pian. Is there a way
to tell my home network that my laptop is ok to be part
of it?
 
Not really. But if you can log into your laptop using your work domain
account, using the cached profile, then isn't this enough?
