sharing documentation on active directory

Hi,
i have a lan with active directory managed by Win 2003 Server.

I need prepare another lan managed by Win 2000 Advanced Server.

Is possible sharing printers and files between 2 different domain of active
directory?
where can i find some documentation?

Built-in documentation of 2000 and 2003 and of course the online one on
TechNet. The term to look for would be - Trusts.
