Hi,
I am using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003. I've created a custom folder
called "David's Mail" at the same level as the Inbox. Below David's Mail,
I've created many subfolders that organize my mail.
I'd like to allow one of my associates to access one of those subfolders
from their Outlook 2003 client, so I've adjusted the Permissions on that
folder to allow him access to it. The problem is that I can't figure out
how to tell his Outlook 2003 client to open it.
From his Outlook 2003 I can go to File, Open, Other User's folder, but the
only Folder Types that are available are Outlook's standard list. It
doesn't give me the opportunity to choose a folder that's not listed.
I realize that I could create a Public Folder for this, but I'd rather not
do that if I can avoid it. The information that I'm storing in the
subfolder is of a more personal nature that I just need one person to be
able to access.
Any help with configuring Outlook 2003 to do this would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
