Outlook 2002
My goal is to share Outlook Contacts with user-defined fields between
me and my assistant.
I thought the easiest way would be by email but it doesn't seem to be
working.
I went to my assistant's computer and created the fields in her
Outlook exactly as they appear in mine. When she creates a new
contact and attaches it to an email and I open it on my machine I'm
not getting what I want. As an example, one of the fields is named
"Inspection Fee" and it is a currency field. When I bring the Contact
up on my machine the Inspection Fee is listed under "User-defined
Fields in This Item" but not in the "User-defined Fields in Folder"
list. Also, the field loses its currency format.
Any suggestions on how to cure this specific problem -or- how to more
efficiently share Contacts in general? If there's some way she could
enter them into an online database and I could pull them down that
would work too, assuming the User-defined fields come across properly.
Any advice is appreciated.
