sharing contact between outlook and outlook express

in previous versions of these programs (for win 98) these
2 programs where able to shre my contacts. How do i get
the same set-up on the XP versions?

This was only a feature in the long abandoned IMO support mode of Outlook.
To do anything similar in current version requires a reg hack:
