Hi and Thanx in Advance,
I just bought a dvd/cdrw and would like to share its
burning capabilities with all 4 of my computers...
Network is working just fine they all have xp with no
issues..

Is there anyway to accomplish this? There is nothing in
the support area... When i share my burner it acts like
its a folder not a devise... any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated..

While you will be able to share the drive for read access to other machines
on your network (right click the drive letter and then go to sharing and
then share the drive). You will find that you will probably not be able to
burn to it from other network machines.

This is primarily enforced not by Windows, but by the CD/DVD burning
software that you use because when burning across the network, you can
encounter buffer underrun errors.

Hi, Brian -

What you're trying to do can't be done, I'm afraid - CD
burning software can only be used on the machine that has
the burner installed.

Wish I had better news for you -
