We are sharing calendars via Net Folders on Oultook 2000. It is working well but we have a couple issues we are trying to resolve.
First:
On some users, we get the following message:
“A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose “Noâ€.â€
At first, we thought it was users with PDAs but this isn’t this case. We can’t find a common link between users and can’t figure out how to disable the message. Any ideas?
Second:
On some users, the update messages (#NET FOLDERS# Update for Calendar) go to the Inbox instead of processing straight through. The email has to be “opened†then gives the following message:
“This message is a Net Folders Control Message. Normally, you should not see this message. The message will now be processed.â€
Once you click OK, the message processes. (The article “Net Folders Subscription Updates Not Processed†did not solve the issue.)
There doesn’t seem to be any correlation between the two problems. We’ve checked add-ins and Rules…we’ve followed all of the troubleshooting tips I can find on Microsoft.com and can’t find a fix.
Thank you for your time!!
