This is a repeat of a post which has gone missing. In order to share my
Business Contact Manager data (presently on my home office PC) to my laptop,
which I use in the field, do I have to buy a second copy of BCM with Outlook
for the laptop? Or is there another way?

You'll definately need to have Outlook and BCM on the laptop. If it
already has Outlook, you can try installing BCM from the same BCM
setup disk you used to install it on the home PC. The licensing/
activation of BCM is pretty confusing with all the different versions
of Office and so on.

Thanks very much for the reply. Sure, I understand that I'll need BCM on
the laptop - my real question is do I have to pay for another copy or is
there another option? I can't find any reference to this anywhere in the MS
publicity material. I can't try to install from a disk as this was a
purchased download - no setup file is available.

Portability is a feature I would find very useful but not to the extent that
I want to pay for the same program twice!

I agree with you that the licensing options for BCM are very confusing.
