I need to disallow users on my computer from viewing files
that belong to other users, such as my documents folder,
ect. I know there is a simple command button that when
clicked, "dissallows users from viewing my files" i've
done it beofre, and now i just cant find it, please help!

Hi,

The only way I know how is to right-mouse click on the
file, select Properties, then the Security tab.

Hope this helps,
Lynn

If the security tab isn't available, open "Windows Explorer" and in the
folders tree find and expand "Documents and Settings" find your user folder,
right click and open The Properties Dialogue choose the "Sharing Tab" and
look for the "Make this Folder Private" option and put a check in its box.
Click apply, then OK to close the dialogue. Each user will have to do this
for their own account.
