Sharing address book with other apps

how can I share my Outlook address book with Outlook
Express? I can get to it via Word but in OE I go to
TOOLS>ADdRESS BOOK and see nothing but an empty address
book. How can I link the two? Thank you.

No such feature in Outlook 2003, but you can create one with code:

Seems like a shame not to have some kind of sharing
between the two, if I remember correctly I was able to
share between 2000 and OE. Why would they actually remove
that kind of functionality? But thank you for the tip, I
will try it.

Outlook has never really had such a feature. You were obviously using IMO
mode before. The only reason it had the feature was that it was not able to
support the Outlook Address Book, so you were actually using the Windows
Address Book--the same one OE uses.
