1. On Win98,...delete the *.pwl files, ...the file search utility will find
them for you. Log out and then back it. It will prompt for a Username and
a "windows password". Give it one.
2. On the Win2k machine create and account on that machine using the same
name and password you used on the Win98 machine. In the properties of the
"share" for the printer, grant permissions to this account for the use of
the printer.
Happy printing.
This is the same requirements & process for any kind of "sharing" operation
when the traget machine is Win2k or WinXP-Pro. The XP-Home isn't an issue
because it works like Win98.
