sharing a .pst - specifically contact database

We have the need to share our contact database on our
local network. I have shared the folder for full access,
tried relocating a copy of the folder to a server, tried
copying the .pst to another computer to open it, and
nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?
 
Outlook doesn't support sharing .pst files. See
