Hello All,
I have an HP InkJet printer attached, locally to a Win2k
machine. It is shared out and I can see it "and install
it" over the network. In Windows 2000, to have a network
printer accessible to everyone that logs on, the printer
has to be installed locally on a standard TCP/IP port.
When I go to install the inkjet that way, what do I use as
an IP? Or is there another way? The printer share name
does not work.
If I want to install it on one user over the network, it
works fine.
Thanks
GP
