sharing a dvd drive from xp pro

hi,

i would just like know if it is possible to watch a dvd or listen to an
audio disc from an xp home machine over a network on a win 2k machine.

any help appreciated

Hello
Yes, why not. To watch movie or listen song, you just need access to file ,
which can be done through sharing.
In XP home, sharing is done in safe mode. So boot the machine in safe mode,
right click the folder and choose sharing.
