I have Sharepoint Team Services running on a Windows 2000
Server. I have the Sharepoint Website to REQUIRE a valid
User Name and Password for a User to gain access to the
Site AND my Firewall Router expects the USER I/P address
to be already flagged as TRUSTED I/P.

I have opened TCP port 80 on my Firewall/Router thinking
anyone could attemp to LOGON. They can't...

I now have a CEO at his summer home using a dial up
connection. He gets a new I/P everytime he logs on so, he
gets a YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO VIEW THIS PAGE message
when he trys to access the Web Site.

Does Windows Authentication use a different port than port
80 for that? ANY help woud be appreciated.

Thanks - Jim

I'm a novice so I'm confused as to why, with port 80 open

You may want to try the SharePoint newsgroups

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.sharepoint.teamservices
(Usability)
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.sharepoint.teamservices.caml
(Custom Development)
