When performing a certain action (trying to edit word document from a records
management system) I keep getting an error saying
In order to perform this operation, you need to configure your browser to
allow scripting ActiveX controls and you need to install the Microsoft
Sharepoint Services Client API.
IE is already set to allow all ActiveX controls and the sharepoint services
api is installed. This error comes about only after using Microsoft updates.
It seems to change or break something. Can't have an unpatched PC, so does
anyone have any ideas on how to sort this excrutiatingly annoying problem?
