T Todd Apr 16, 2004 #1 Can a shared workbook, saved on a network, be protected from deletion by a user?
D Dave Peterson Apr 17, 2004 #2 If you give the network share the correct permissions, it would be safe. Have your IT folks create a share that gives readonly permission. Heck, you want to share the workbook--so that won't work. I don't think you can stop them. (Keep a backup hidden somewhere--just in case!)
