Shared .pst file

I have a user who has 4G of data (graphics) We moved her to a .pst folder to
remove the load off the server. The problem I have now is she wants to be
able to access this .pst file from Outlook 2003 on the PC, and Outlook from
her MAC. Can this be done? Anyone have a solution besides creating a folder
that can be shared by both platforms and dumping the files into this folder?

BTW; MS doesn't support the use of a pst on a network - corruption problems.
Dont no anything about MAC.
