Hi great gurus of MS,

I have the following production scenario:

Server running Windows Small Business Server 2003
Workstations running Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 Professional SP4
One Domain only
AD
All the users have roaming profiles

The problem is that when i logon on a windows 2000 workstation the shared
printers that exist on all the network are automatically connected... This
is a problem

I searched all the GPOs and none exiat to avoid this....
Explorer Options on Windows 2K don't have an option not to do this
beahvior...
when I delete the shared printer with administrator previledges, the next
time i connect there they are again...

Please help me. I have an aplication that need only the local printer
connected.

Tx in Advance,

SR

In Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options...

View Tab...

Uncheck the first box "Automatically search for network folders and
printers"

Can this be done via a GPO?

Thanks.
