Hi Guys !

How to access shared printer from a machine running W2k
without using Netbios?

Thank you for any answer.

Rob

I am asuming that you are running a peer to peer network
otherwise you probably wouldnt be asking this question. On
the PC that the printer is attached to, you need to add
the person that you want to give access to as a user. For
example if the person needing to print logs onto thei PC
as John Doe with the password of hello then you need to
add John Doe with a password of "hello" as a user on the
win2k machine with the priter attached. Then share the
printer (right click on the printer icon) and then in the
security tab give "John Doe" permission to access the
printer.

Thanks Win !
