Shared printer problem

I have two machines both Win XP connected by a Linksys Router. Everything is
running well ICS, file sharing. There is just one problem I cannot sort out.
When I use the Host machine to print all is well, but when I use the client
machine it doesn't print so well.I'm using Lexmark P3150 AIO. Printing black
text on the shared printer comes out as red & blue, the two colours nearly
on top of each other. Somewhere along the line it's not waiting to finish
the print. My cartridges are Photo & Colour hence the red & blue. Has anyone
come across this before?

Sounds like a driver incompatibility problem. I would delete the
printer driver from the system that the printer is not physically
connected to - you may get a dialog box that asks you if you want to
delete the actual driver files - if so, say YES. Then install (or
reinstall) the latest drivers on the system that the printer is
physically connected to. Finally add the printer (as a networked
printer) back on the system that it is not physically connected to -
if you are asked whether you want to use "existing drivers", or
something like that, say NO. This should sort you out.

Absolutely top class Peter. I went through with your instructions word by
word and came out winning. This is very much appreciated and another piece
of info for myself.
Thank you very much.
