Shared internet connection - share one update???

We have a shared internet connection (no server) - is it
possible when downloading updates from microsoft to get
all other machines to check with one computer for
updates?? (ie mine after updating??)

Rather than each individual machine having to collect
their own updates??

This would save a considerable amount of downloading -
they are all running windows 2000 pro??
