Shared Folder Concern

To whom it may concern,

Previously, all of our shared folders located in our file serverare working
properly until several users can no longer access a particular shared
folder. They always have the following message:

[Drive x:/] is not accessible.

No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because
there are already as many connections as the computer can accept.

I have checked the properties settings to the related folder and the User
Limit in the General Tab is set to "maximum allowed". I also checked the
Permission Tab and all the users permissions remain the same.

First question, how do I check on how many users are currently connected on
a particular shared folder?

Second question, how do I set the limit of connections per shared folder?
assuming that it is already set to maximum limit?

Your quick response on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

If you exceed the number of CAL's for your server, you will get that error.
If your hosting the share on a Windows 2000 PRO box, you can have 10 people
access at a time.

To see who is connected to the share, use Computer Manager from the
Administrative Tools folder or right click the My Computer icon and select
the manage option from the pull down.

When computer management comes up, expand Shared Folders and select sessions
or open files to see who is using what.

Hope this helps,
