Shared file problems

I am unable to open a shared excel file. Others on the
network do not have a problem with this file, and I can
open other excel files. Any idea why this is happening?

What happens when you try to open it? Do you get an error message? What does it
say? Does your computer crash? What is the error message?

It looks like it is going to open, and then an error
message comes up that says Microsoft excel for windows
has encountered a problem and needs to close - asks if
you want to send a report to microsoft. I would think it
is a problem with the excel program, except that I have
no problem with other shared excel files.
